Daniel and George are dead serious about their recovery and are taking the necessary steps to end homelessness.
Both Daniel and George graduated the Orange County Rescue Mission and were ready to move out into independent living. However, they both realized that support and accountability are important elements to remaining clean and sober. Therefore, they decided to move in together and share an apartment.
Deed & Truth, along with a new church partner, Grace Church in Laguna Niguel, transformed their empty apartment into a beautiful living space for the two men. George is also now able to host his two sons for overnight visits.
They both have solid, full-time employment and are attending local churches. They are saving money and looking to serve in their community.
Daniel and George presented our team with a personal card, with a thoughtful expression of their appreciation written in it. They were so excited to see their new living space transformed by people they don’t even know. They both commented on how powerful it was to experience the love of God through his church representatives.
