Dan & Betty Anderson
After serving in Pastoral ministries in the local church for twenty-five years, God prompted Dan and Betty Anderson into urban ministry working with those experiencing homelessness. Currently, Dan is serving as the Staff Pastor to over 150 employees at the Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row in Los Angeles, CA, and also serving as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Ministry Development. For the first four years of working at the URM, Dan lived on campus (in his office), to immediately identify and connect as a resident of skid row. Betty accepted a two year position as Program Director for Hope Gardens Family Center where she also resided on-site while ministering 24/7 to over 200 precious single mothers and children. Dan and Betty serve together as the Deed and Truth founders and leadership team...asking God to break "our hearts" for what breaks His.
