Wayne’s World has been filled with confusion, distrust, and uncertainty for the past two decades.

Wayne has experienced homelessness, on and off, for the past 20 years. Today, that’s all changing as we helped Wayne move into a studio apartment at a senior living facility in Costa Mesa.

Deed and Truth has recently developed a new partnership with the shelter in Tustin which is a collaboration between the city of Tustin and the Orange County Rescue Mission. Wayne has been staying at the Tustin Homeless Shelter for the past six years.

Wayne is our most recent recipient of the House2Home ministry of Deed and Truth. We wish him well as he adjusts to being in his own home for the first time in 20 years. It’s going to be a whole new experience for him.

Please pray for Wayne in this huge transition… that he might meet some good friends at the Senior Center and retain a level of support and accountability with the helpful staff at the Tustin Shelter.

We’d also like to give a shout out to the city of Tustin for their commitment to helping hurting people get off the streets. They are a great example that we hope other cities can learn from to begin reducing the number of people left out on the streets of our communities.

  1. Praying for Wayne that this is a positive transition. Also happy to hear that there are senior facilities as an option for House2Home. Good Job everyone.

    1. I love Wayne getting his key ready to open ‘his own place’. God is So Good. I pray for Wayne’s connection with other seniors.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️
