They went through very rough times but stayed together through it all.
Katelyn and Ray were living on the street. Katelyn was pregnant and they lost their other children to the system given the lack of stability in their lives. All seemed lost but they chose to stay together to support each other.
They eventually found the Orange County Rescue Mission and their lives have been changed forever. They have worked hard over the past years. They graduated the mission program, secured good jobs, regained custody of their children, have stayed in contact with the mission, and most recently purchased a fixer-upper house in Norco.
Today, they are connected to the mission and a local church. They are volunteering and giving back. Katelyn and Ray are both focused on raising their children in the way of the Lord and guiding them to find their own foundation of faith in God.
Deed and Truth has come along side this family to provide furniture for their new house. They are very excited about getting it all fixed up so the empty old house can become a beautiful new home for their family of six.
Please pray for their continued success. Pray specifically that they balance their time and finances wisely between work, family, and the home renovation.
Thanks to all of you who have donated furniture to save this family, and many others like them, tens of thousands of dollars, so they can enjoy beautiful furnishings without draining their limited finances, and make them proud of where God has taken them in this long and difficult journey.
