After the House2Home reveal this past weekend, 5 year-old Ethan, said to his father, “I want to stay here forever.”
Fernando entered the Orange County Rescue with his wife and two children, Ethan (5) and Mia (3). She didn’t want to stay so she left the family, but Fernando stayed the course. His wife came back to try it again… but again… she left the mission and her family behind. Fernando stayed the course.
Fernando, now effectively a single father of two young children, graduated the OCRM program, got a job, saved his money, and just moved into the 2 year transitional housing provided by the OCRM for its successful graduates.
This weekend, Deed and Truth, along with our H2H team from Pacific Coast Church in San Clemente, transformed Fernando’s house into a home. Fernando’s kiddos haven’t had a stable environment growing up, but after seeing his newly furnished room and the rest of the house, Fernando’s son asked him how long they could stay at their new home. Fernando told him, “we can stay here a long time.” Little Ethan responded, “I want to stay here forever.”
A special “thank you” to all of our donors of finances and furniture, along with the ground zero volunteers from Pacific Coast Church, for making their new home a place they want to stay forever! And that’s a pretty cool thing to make happen for a young family that is trying to make a new start in life.

Such a gratifying “deed” you all are doing Thank You
I totally agree. Thanks for your comment and support of the ministry.
