“I had lost my home, my family, my children, my health, and almost my life.”

Wendy lost everything due to addiction and homelessness. Then she turned to the Lord and surrendered her life completely to him. She is grateful to God for bringing her to Hope Gardens to provide the help and healing she needed. God has since, restored her family, her health, and a new place to live.

Wendy is a recent recipient of the House2Home ministry. With the help of All Nations Church volunteer team we were able to transform her empty apartment into a home.

Maybe the best way to communicate the experience is to share a few texts that Wendy sent us after she came home to see her new home and the following week.

Pastor Dan and Miss Betty… This is the most beautiful, wonderful surprise ever! I love it so much my text cannot describe how excited and happy I am right now. Thank you so so so much. God bless you.

Ms Betty… I hope it’s not to late in the evening but we just got home from Grandma’s and my son Salvador said, “Where am I” when we got home. We still can’t believe it!

Hi Ms Betty… I was just thinking about you and wanted to say, Hi. I had a wonderful weekend in my new home. And I just wanted to tell you that it feels so fancy in here. Salvador saw my new Keurig (you gave us) and said, “Oh mom, that’s Fancy lol !

Ms Betty and Pastor Dan… WOW! Is this really my home?! I’m STILL SPEECHLESS!!! All I can say is: God is so so Good. Thank you.

Wendy’s goals are to continue working, to save money, and to provide a safe and healthy environment for her family.  Please pray for God to empower her to accomplish these worthwhile goals.

A special thanks to All Nations Church for their generous financial support and volunteer hours. Your team has made a life-changing difference for another family in need and a single mother who continues to work hard and trust God for a better future for her and her children.
