Celebrations are reminders of what is really important in life. Last week Deed and Truth helped Greg celebrate several important occasions and milestones.

Greg Brown graduated the Union Rescue Mission Recovery Program in 2005. That same year he also got a job at the mission. This year Greg is celebrating 16 years of sobriety and ministry, helping other men find recovery and transformation in the Christian Life Discipleship Program.

Add to that, Greg’s birthday was last weekend. But wait, there’s more… Greg just got married but was unable to go on a honeymoon. Greg is a frontline worker on skid row, and not only needed some R&R, but we also wanted him to enjoy some time to get away and celebrate these important occasions with his new bride.

Last week Deed and Truth provided a timeshare getaway in San Diego for Greg and LaRonda, to enjoy a belated honeymoon. They had a wonderful time and were so appreciative to our donors for their generosity.

Thank you for your support of the ministry so we can send frontline workers like Greg on vacation getaways to retreat, recharge, and in this case, rejoice in the good things God is doing.

If you’d like to contribute a week of timeshare or at a vacation home please contact us at: betty@deedandtruth.org

  1. What a beautiful couple! So happy for them. And so thankful to be a part of Deed and Truth to bless Greg, awesome servant, and his bride! ❤
