He went from living on the streets to witnessing on the streets.
Michael was an addict for twenty years and on Methadone for twelve. He lost both his parents to AIDS due to drug use… he lost his grandmother to alcoholism… he lost his grandfather to heroin.
When he decided to get off drugs his mother died three weeks later on Thanksgiving Day.
Michael got into a drug program and has been clean since November 3, 2021. He was baptized about a year ago and since then he has taken his message of the Good News to the streets! He goes to the drug addicts on the streets and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has radically changed his life and now God is using Michael to change the lives of others.
Michael wants to continue to pursue higher education in the mental health field. He also seeks your prayers for his Street Ministry. He desires to grow closer to God by being around those who know more about Him.
Deed and Truth transformed his empty apartment into a home thanks to generous donations and volunteers from Pacific Coast Church in San Clemente. Michael wasn’t able to be there as he was running late because he was ministering at the beach and some new believers through his ministry wanted to be baptized in the Ocean.
Your generous financial and furniture donations made this transformation possible. Michael is truly grateful for all the physical stuff, but most of all, for the love that is represented by the generosity of strangers who love Jesus and displayed this kind of love to him by turning his empty house into a cozy home.
Praise the Lord!
Wow, how amazing is the power of the Gospel that freed Michael from a life of bondage to sin and addiction on the streets to the new transformed life that channels the blessing of God by taking the Good News back on the streets! I’m so encouraged by all your labor of love to make his house a beautiful home. May God bless Michael and his ministry, and may God bless Deed and Truth indeed!
