It’s time for the kiddos to go back to school and that generates some needs for some needy families.

One of the luxuries that most needy families can’t afford for their high school children are laptop computers. A laptop computer is a tool that can really help a high school student improve their education. Some of the families we help don’t even have room in their tiny apartments for workspaces so a laptop is really helpful.

Daisy is a single mother of five children. Her oldest son is entering high school and there is no room in their two-bedroom apartment for a desk. She would be thrilled to supply a laptop computer to her son so he can stay on top of his studies. We’d also like to make laptops available for our other families who have similar educational needs for their high school students.

We’d like to ask our Deed & Truth friends to donate used laptops that still have some life left in them. If you have one you could give, or know how to get one, we’d sure appreciate the in-kind laptop donations.

Please contact Dan (dan@deedandtruth.org) or Betty (betty@deedandtruth.org) and we will work out a time to make the pick-up.
